Hi! Just got back from Davao City. I went there to renew my Architect and Master Plumber license at PRC. I arrived there around 10:00am. I got my priority number and had my photo taken. I sat at the waiting area until my number is called. After 10 minutes I was at window 1 of PRC Davao, submitting my requirements for my Architect license and Master Plumber license. Basic requirements are: the filled-up PERRC form, filled-up Renewal Form, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and name tag), and a photocopy of the latest/current professional ID. After reviewing my documents, I was instructed to pay for my assessment fees for both licenses. For my architect license, it was 630.00 pesos and for my Master Plumber license, it was 420.00 pesos. She also gave me my claim stub and was told to go back after 3-4 months to claim my new professional IDs. Then, I paid for my fees at the cashier and was out of the PRC door in less than an hour, probably just over 30 minutes. Whew!!! That was easy!! After PRC, I then went to SM City Davao to have my lunch and before 12:00nn, I was on a bus on my way back to Gensan. My travel time is longer than my actual stay in Davao! 6 hours total bus travel, but only 1 and a half hours in the City. Oh well! See you next time Davao! I have to be back in Gensan early for my kids!
Anyway, I thought all was over! At around 6:00pm, the reviewing officer of PRC that I submitted my documents to, texted me that my IAPOA Certificate was needed for them to be able to continue processing the renewal of my architect license. What! You should have told me that when you were reviewing my documents when I was in front of you! So, anyway, I told her I was already in Gensan and asked if I could just fax or email it to her. Good thing, she said I could scan and email it to her. Woohoo! Hurray email! Now, I just have to wait 4 months, just to be sure, to claim my ID.
